“Riding and training horses — and their owners — is my passion and lifelong work”Sian Mete
Sian frequently trains riders who are competing up to medium level in British Dressage and up to Intermediate in British Eventing, but she also enjoys teaching clients of all levels on a wide variety of horses from Dutch warmbloods to Welsh cobs.
Empathetic and engaging, she’s known for her patience and calmness. Not only can she unleash the rider’s full potential but through consistent and correct training can teach them how to improve their horses’ gymnastic way of going, strength and performance — and be confident enough to use the same methods when training at home alone.
Enthusiastic and inspirational, she finds educating riders hugely rewarding and has a natural ability to realise an individual’s capability, helping to motivate them to reach their goals — big or small.
Based at her yard in Dorset, Sian travels to local yards and welcomes clients to her home in Corfe Mullen for lessons and also takes on horses for retraining.
